Our Story
What is the background to Argonaut Travel Education?
My name is Jason Reeves. Teaching has been a great 30 year career. After my degree at Newcastle University, I trained as a Humanities teacher. My specialism is geography and I have been Head of Geography at several schools. Teaching took me to spend 17 years living in Oman and Malaysia, where I was Assistant Head. After another 5 years at a Prep School in Derbyshire, I have now decided to bring my fieldwork and outdoor education experience to enhance the curriculum in schools and to support home educated families.
Why Argonaut? I am also a teacher of Classical Civilisations, so the classic story of "Jason and the Argonauts" had to be the link to the name!

I support home school parents who want their children to access valuable social elements of education.
